DUMAS TX - He is being held in the Moore County jail on a $1 million bond.

The sheriff says the shooting happened just after 10:30 Saturday night.

Texas Rangers are helping Moore County with this investigation, which is still ongoing as of right now.

Preliminary results of an autopsy conducted Tuesday revealed the Dumas woman fatally shot Saturday suffered three gunshot wounds, the Moore County Sheriff's Office said.

Aimee Kuykendall, 32, had been arguing with her husband, Alan Ray Kuykendall, about 10:35 p.m. Saturday in their home at 10826 McClary St. when the shooting occurred, investigators said.

Aimee Kuykendall was on the phone with a friend when the friend heard a shot, investigators said. Deputies arrested Alan Kuykendall and booked him into Moore County jail on a murder charge. Investigators recovered a .38-caliber handgun at the scene.

Kuykendall remained in jail Monday on $1 million bond.
