AMARILLO.COM - Dumas assistant volleyball coach Julie Williams is expected to be named head volleyball coach within two weeks.

A source close to the situation told the Amarillo Globe-News that Williams was announced as the next head coach at a Thursday morning meeting attended by the Dumas volleyball players.

Williams would succeed Jack Wilson, who is retiring after 24 years of coaching Dumas to a 713-212 record, five state titles and 24 playoff appearances.
